Das Single-Cover von „Funk in Time“
Funk in Time ist ein Lied aus Grand Theft Auto: Liberty City Stories, Grand Theft Auto IV und Grand Theft Auto V, das von Rudy La Fontaine gesungen wird. Es läuft 1998 im Programm von Lips 106 und wird auf vielen Plakatwänden in Liberty City beworben, was darauf hinweisen könnte, dass das Stück zu dieser Zeit einen Chart-Platz belegt (alle Lieder auf Lips 106 stammen von fiktionalen Interpreten). Zusammen mit anderen fiktiven Werken der GTA-Serie taucht eine CD mit dem Titel in Playboy X’ Wohnung auf. In GTA V ist „Funk in Time“ Bestandteil eines Jukebox-Soundtracks.
„Funk in Time“ wurde von Jon McCavish exklusiv für Liberty City Stories sowohl geschrieben als auch produziert. Die Stimme des Sängers wie die Gitarrenakustik stammen von Julian Pais.
